According to Reuters, the latest data released by the Chilean National Statistics Bureau showed that in September this year, Chile's copper production was 478,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, mainly due to the improvement of copper processing procedures of major mining companies and the improvement of mining laws.

On the other hand, the copper production of Chile's National Copper Company (Codelco) has dropped to the lowest level in history in the past two years; in August this year, the company's copper production showed signs of recovery for the first time. The company promised that by the end of this year, copper production will exceed 2023.

Chile is the world's largest copper producer. In 2023, the country's copper production will be about 5 million tons, accounting for 24% of the world's copper production. It is expected that the increase in copper production this year will reach 3.3%.
