Haiwang company has developed a series of highly efficient spiral chutes to meet the diverse product requirements of the ore dressing industry. Specifically designed for different working conditions, these chutes feature a unique combination of composite section curves, along with various inclinations and pitch structures. They can be made using materials such as fiberglass + polyurethane or high-strength nylon. Customized designs are available based on the characteristics of the incoming materials and different sorting criteria. The various series are suitable for sorting particle sizes ranging from 20 microns to 2000 microns, offering high sorting efficiency and long service life.
The spiral chute is one of the most commonly used gravity separation equipment, and its separation principle is as follows: the ore particles in the slurry are loosely stratified under the influence of gravity, frictional force, inertial centrifugal force, and water flow pressure. Ore particles with higher density enter the bottom layer and move towards the inner edge, while ore particles with lower density enter the upper layer and move towards the outer edge. This forms a concentrate zone, a middling zone, and a tailings zone on the surface of the spiral chute. Finally, the concentrate and tailings are separated by a cutter. The rationality of the structural parameters such as the cross-sectional shape and pitch of the spiral chute determines the effectiveness of the separation.

Unique design of the circular anti-overflow groove for heavy minerals, allowing heavy minerals to easily enter the selection zone but preventing them from entering the tailings due to excessive centrifugal force.The spiral line drainage groove makes it easier for heavy minerals to enter the chute, thereby reducing the tailings grade and improving concentrate recovery.
Concentrate countercurrent washing device, further improving the concentrate grade by 2-4 percentage points.
By adding a concentrate washing and upgrading device to the spiral chute, the problem of including gangue or ore slurry in the concentrate zone, leading to a low concentrate grade, is addressed. This structure washes the concentrate zone with a small amount of water, allowing lighter minerals to enter the outer layer more easily, achieving the purpose of upgrading. As a result, the final concentrate grade can be further increased by 2-4 percentage points.
