The SX series water medium cyclone produced by Haiwang Corporation features simple configuration, low production cost, high processing capacity, high separation efficiency, and adjustable performance, demonstrating strong adaptability. The application of water medium cyclones in coal selection involves using them as the main separation equipment in a gravity coal selection method based on particle density differences. In this process, the coarse coal slurry enters the water medium cyclone under pressure, undergoes rotational motion along the cyclone cylinder wall, and, under the influence of centrifugal force and gravity, high-density materials gradually pass through the air column to enter the outer cyclone flow, while low-density materials gradually enter the central air column, thereby achieving material separation based on density.

Technical characteristics

• Simple structural design, small footprint, low production cost, high separation accuracy (Ep≤0.125kg/l, separation efficiency >85%), strong adaptability. It can achieve efficient separation of coarse coal slurry without adding heavy media.
• Adopt an adjustable overflow pipe structure, which allows online adjustment of the overflow pipe insertion depth during production, effectively controlling the separation indicators of coarse coal slurry.
• Use a composite cone structure, combining different cones based on the coal quality characteristics of the selected coarse coal slurry, improving its adaptability and separation accuracy for different coal qualities.
